一、申请资格类

1. 哪些人群可申请我校国际硕士？港澳台学生是否纳入外籍招生范围？

答：国际硕士面向非中国籍、已取得学士学位的本科毕业生（含应届本科生）开放申请。港澳台学生不属于本次外籍硕士招生范畴。

2. 是否允许跨专业申请？是否存在前置专业限制？

I. Eligibility

Q1: Who can apply for our international master’s programs? Are Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students included in international student admissions?

A1: Only non-Chinese citizens with a bachelor’s degree (including final-year undergraduates) may apply. Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are not eligible for this international master program.

Q2: Can I apply for a major unrelated to my undergraduate degree? Are there any prerequisites for certain majors?

二、学制、授课与学位类（2年制中文授课专业硕士）

1. 外籍专业硕士学制为几年？顺利毕业后可取得何种证书？

答：标准学制二年，学生完成全部培养要求后，授予专业硕士学位证书。

2. 课程采用何种语言授课？暂无HSK证书能否提交申请、入学前补齐证书？

答：课程以中文授课为主，部分教学环节或根据教学需求辅以英文，申请人需具备一定的基础中文能力。若申请阶段尚未取得HSK证书，可正常递交申请，语言证书可后补；材料完整且通过学院面试的申请者，我校将发放预录取通知书。

3. 学校是否开设汉语补习课程？满足哪些条件可免修汉语四级课程？

答：我校依据《国际汉语能力标准》四级、五级能力要求开设汉语基础必修课。符合以下任一条件的学生，入学后可申请免修汉语四级课程：

（1）申请人汉语水平达到《国际汉语能力标准》四级；

（2）申请人母语为汉语，

（3）申请人前置完整学历阶段采用汉语授课。

4. 东莞理工学院有几个校区？国际硕士主要在哪一校区就读？

答：我校设有松山湖、莞城两个校区。2026级国际硕士生的教学及宿舍统一安排在松山湖校区。

II. Program Length, Teaching & Degrees (2-year Chinese-taught Master’s Programs)

Q1: How long is the international master’s program? What certificate will I get after graduation?

A1: The standard study period is 2 years. Upon completing all graduation requirements, you will receive a professional master’s degree certificate.

Q2: What is the medium of instruction for courses? Can I submit my application without an HSK certificate and provide the certificate prior to enrollment?

A2: Chinese serves as the primary medium of instruction, while English acts as a supplementary medium for selected teaching sessions. All applicants need basic Mandarin proficiency to enrol on the programme. You are allowed to submit your application even if you do not hold an HSK certificate at the point of application and you may submit the language qualification before enrolment. Candidates who pass document screening and interview will receive a Pre-admission Notice.

Q3: Does DGUT offer Chinese language courses? How can I skip the Level 4 Chinese course?

A3: DGUT offers mandatory foundation Chinese courses formulated in line with the Level 4 and Level 5 requirements specified in the Standards of International Chinese Language Proficiency. Students who meet any of the following criteria may apply for an exemption from the mandatory Level 4 Chinese course after enrolment:

(1) Your Chinese meets Level 4 of the International Chinese Language Proficiency Standards;

(2) Chinese is your native language (subject to school verification, no language certificate required);

(3) Your previous full degree was taught entirely in Chinese (subject to school verification, no language certificate required).

Q4: How many campuses does Dongguan University of Technology have? Which campus will host international master’s students?

A4: DGUT has two campuses: Songshan Lake Campus and Guancheng Campus. All teaching activities and student accommodation for the 2026 intake of international master’s students will be arranged at Songshan Lake Campus.

三、材料与申请流程类

1. 我如何提交我的入学申请？

2. 入学是否安排面试？面试形式与考核重点是什么？

答：主要采用线上面试，由对应专业学院考核申请人语言水平、逻辑思维及专业匹配度。

3. 材料提交后审核周期多久？

答：整体初审周期约1–2周，初审通过的申请人将收到面试通知，请留意邮箱并及时确认是否参加面试。

4. 从提交申请至到校注册完整流程是什么？

答：① 申请人在系统提交申请；

② 研究生院核查材料完整性，再按申请专业发送至对应学院复审；

③ 学院复审通过后组织线上面试；

④ 面试合格发放预录取通知书，申请人按通知书指引缴纳报名费；

⑤ 学校统一提交材料至省教育厅办理JW202签证表审批；

⑥ 报名费到账且JW202审批完成后，发放正式录取通知书；

⑦ 学生持JW202表与正式录取通知书办理X1来华学生签证；

⑧ 按录取通知书规定时间到校完成注册报到。

III. Application Documents & Procedures

Q1: How can I submit my application?

Q2: Will applicants be required to attend an admission interview? What format will the interview take, and what aspects will be assessed?

A2: Interviews will be conducted online. Faculty from the respective schools will evaluate applicants’ Chinese proficiency, logical thinking ability and programme compatibility.

Q3: How long is the review period after application materials are submitted?

A3: The preliminary screening process generally takes approximately 1–2 weeks. Applicants who pass the preliminary review will receive an interview invitation. Please keep an eye on your email and confirm your attendance in a timely manner.

Q4: What is the full procedure from application submission to on-campus registration?

A4: (1) Applicants submit their applications at the portal;

(2) The Graduate School will verify the completeness of submitted materials and forward the applications to the corresponding schools for secondary review based on the applicant’s major;

(3) Upon passing the secondary review by the schools, applicants will be invited to an online interview;

(4) Pre-admission Notice will be issued to candidates who pass the interview. (5) Applicants shall pay the application fee as instructed in the Pre-admission Notice;

(6) DGUT will submit all documents to the Provincial Department of Education for the approval of the JW202 Visa Application Form;

(7) Official admission letters will be issued after receipt of the application fee and completion of JW202 approval;

(8) Students shall apply for an X1 student visa for China with their JW202 form and official admission letter;

(9) Complete on-campus registration and enrolment at the designated time stated in the official admission letter.

四、预录取、正式录取、签证及入境相关

1. 邮件收到的预录取通知书等同于正式录取通知书吗？可否直接用于办理X1签证？

答：预录取资格仅为阶段性审核结果，不属于正式录取，该预录取通知书无法用于办理来华X1学生签证。

2. 取得预录取后，需完成哪些流程方可换取正式录取通知书与JW202表？

答：预录取仅代表初审通过，不具备最终入学效力。申请人须按照预录取文件要求完成报名费缴纳，并等待广东省教育厅完成JW202签证表审批，两项流程全部办结后，方可发放正式录取通知书。

3. JW202外国留学生签证表办理周期多久？

答：在申请材料齐全无误的前提下，广东省教育JW202审批时长为7–15个工作日。6–7月为硕士申请高峰期，审核进度会相应延后，建议尽早提交材料，预留充足签证办理时间。

4. 入境中国后需办理哪些手续？

答：抵达境内48小时内完成居住登记；一周内完成出入境指定体检；持体检合格报告在入境30日内向公安出入境部门申请学生居留许可。

IV.Pre-admission, Official Admission, Visa & Entry

Q1: Is the pre-admission notice equivalent to the official admission letter? Can it be used to apply for an X1 student visa to China?

A1: A Pre-admission Notice is only a mid-stage review result, not formal admission. It cannot be used to apply for an X1 student visa.

Q2: After receiving a pre-admission notice, what procedures must be completed to obtain the official admission letter and JW202 form?

A2: A pre-admission notice only proves you have passed preliminary screening and is not a valid final admission document. Applicants are required to pay the application fee as specified in the pre-admission documents and wait for the approval of the JW202 visa form by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. The official admission letter will only be issued once both procedures are fully completed.

Q3: How long does JW202 visa form processing take?

A3: If applicants submit full and accurate documentation, the approval of JW202 usually takes 7–15 working days. Master’s application volumes peak in June and July, resulting in slower review speeds. We recommend applicants send in their paperwork as early as possible to leave ample time for visa arrangements.

Q4: What formalities do I need to complete after arriving in China?

A4: You must complete residence registration within 48 hours upon arrival in China. A designated immigration medical examination needs to be finished within one week. With your qualified medical report, you shall apply for a student residence permit at the Exit and Entry Administration Public Security Bureau within 30 days of entry.

五、开学、学费、住宿与奖学金类

1. 国际硕士年度学费标准是多少？

答：学费标准为20000元人民币/人/学年。

2. 是否必须住校，有无单人宿舍？

答：学校建议外籍学生校内住宿，便于使用校内配套资源；留学生宿舍设双人间，不提供单人房型。

3. 学校面向外籍硕士设立哪些奖学金？是否可全额覆盖学费？

我校设立三类资助政策：

（1）新生奖学金：全体完成注册的新生均可申领，标准20000元/学年，按2年标准学制发放，可全额覆盖两年学费，报到注册时可申请直接抵扣学费；

（2）生活补贴助学金：全体注册新生均可申领，标准10000元/学年，发放周期两年；每年分10个月按月发放，每月发放1000元；

（3）学业奖学金：第二学年初依据在校学业成绩综合评定，实行比例评选，具体评审细则与奖金额度入学后另行发布。

4. 奖学金何时开放申请、评审与发放规则如何？

答：所有奖学金申请通道仅在学生到校完成正式注册后开放，预录取阶段暂不受理奖学金申请。

5. 新生统一开学时间是什么时候？

答：常规开学时间为每年9月，具体报到日期以当年正式录取通知书载明信息为准。

6.学校是否提供接送服务？

答：本校不统一安排接送，学生需自行到校办理报到。
