一、学校简介 Overview of DGUT

东莞理工学院（Dongguan University of Technology, DGUT）是东莞第一所公办本科院校，是教育部首批卓越工程师教育培养计划试点高校、教育部首批高等教育综合改革试点高校、广东首批高水平理工科大学建设单位、广东省唯一省市共建的新型高水平理工科大学示范校、广东省高水平大学重点学科建设高校，连续8年位居中国应用型大学排行榜首，跻身“2025软科世界大学学术排名”全球1000强。学科体系以工学为重点，多门类协调发展，建有广东省重点学科6个、省教育厅“冲补强”重点建设学科4个、ESI全球排名前1%学科6个（工程学、材料科学、化学、环境 / 生态学、计算机科学、农业科学）、“软科世界一流学科排名”2025年入榜学科11个。

Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT) is the first public undergraduate university in Dongguan. It is among the first batch of pilot universities for the Education and Training Program for Outstanding Engineers and the first batch of pilot universities for Comprehensive Reform of Higher Education, both initiated by the Ministry of Education of China. DGUT is also one of the first group of universities in Guangdong to develop into high level science and engineering universities, the only demonstration university of a new type of high-level science and engineering university co-built by provincial and municipal governments in Guangdong, and a key discipline construction university of Guangdong’s high-level university project. It has ranked first in China’s rankings of application-oriented universities for 8 consecutive years and was listed among the Top 1000 Global Universities in the 2025 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU ).

With engineering as its core strength, DGUT has developed a coordinated multidisciplinary system. It hosts 6 key disciplines at the provincial level, 4 key disciplines under the Guangdong “Enhancement, Improvement, and Strengthening” Initiative, 6 disciplines ranked in the global top 1% by ESI (Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Environment/Ecology, Computer Science, and Agricultural Science), and 11 disciplines included in the 2025 ARWU Global Ranking of Academic Subjects.

二、关于东莞 About Dongguan

作为“粤港澳大湾区”先行者，东莞地处中国华南地区、广东省中南部、珠江口东岸，西北接广州市，南接深圳市，东北接惠州市，是珠三角中心城市之一、粤港澳大湾区城市之一，深圳都市圈城市之一、为“广东四小虎”之首，是广东重要的交通枢纽和外贸口岸。东莞属亚热带季风气候，日照充足，雨量充沛，湖光山色、绿意盎然，森林覆盖率达36.7%，林地绿化率达98.7%，是名不虚传的国际花园城市。

As a pioneer in the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, Dongguan is in South China, in south-central Guangdong Province, on the eastern coast of the Pearl River Estuary. It is located northwest of Guangzhou, south of Shenzhen, and northeast of Huizhou. It is one of the central cities in the Pearl River Delta, one of the cities in “the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, one of the Shenzhen Metropolitan Circle Cities, and is the first of “the four tigers in Guangdong”. It is an important transportation hub and foreign trade port in Guangdong. Dongguan has a subtropical climate, with plenty of sunshine and rain. It is endowed with a spectacular landscape of lakes and mountains and truly an international garden city.

三、招生专业 School and Majors

四、入学申请 Application

1. 申请时间 Application Period

2. 申请资格Eligibility

（1）申请人须为非中国国籍公民，入学前年龄介于 18 周岁至45周岁，持有效外国护照。在华学习期间自愿遵守中国法律法规和学校校纪校规；

Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens aged between 18 and 45 before enrollment with a valid foreign passport. During their studies in China, applicants shall voluntarily abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as university rules and disciplines；

（2）申请硕士研究生者应具有本科毕业及以上学历；

Master applicants shall hold a bachelor’s degree or above；

（3）语言能力满足以下任一条件:

a.汉语水平达到《国际汉语能力标准》四级；

b.母语为汉语者（经我校认定可免交语言水平证明）；

c.前置学历以中文授课的学生（经我校认定可免交语言水平证明）。

Candidates shall meet any one of the following requirements:

a. Have attained Level 4 of the Chinese Language Proficiency Standards for International Learners;

b. Native Chinese speakers are exempted from submitting language proficiency certificates upon verification by the University;

c. Students whose previous academic education was delivered in Chinese are exempted from submitting language proficiency certificates upon verification by the University.

（4）申请人还需符合所报专业的专业要求（表2）。

Applicants shall also meet the specific admission requirements of the applied major（Table 2）.

3.申请材料 Application Documents

（1）东莞理工学院国际硕士研究生申请表；

Application Form for International Master Students of Dongguan University of Technology；

（2）一份个人陈述（600字左右，用英文或中文撰写，内容应包括个人学习经历、学习计划等）；

Personal Statement (around 600 words, and written in English or Chinese, and should include: personal experience of study, study plan etc.)；

（3）《外国人体格检查表》原件扫描件（检查结果须具有有效公章并在有效期内）；

Scanned original copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (with valid official seal and within the validity period)；

（4）个人承诺书；

Letter of Commitment；

（5）两封推荐信（申请硕士研究生学习者提供两封本科阶段学校或任课老师推荐信）；

Two recommendation letters (for master applicants, two recommendation letters from undergraduate supervisors or course teachers are required)；

（6）本科毕业证、学位证和成绩单的原件扫描件。（应届生可提供就读学校的预毕业证明。入学前必须取得毕业证书，入学前未取得毕业证者，录取资格取消）；

Scanned copies of original bachelor’s graduation certificate, degree certificate and academic transcript. Fresh graduates may submit a pre-graduation certificate issued by their current university. Applicants must obtain the formal graduation certificate before enrollment; failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission qualification；

（7）护照信息页扫描件；

Scanned copy of passport information page；

（8）近六个月免冠正面单人彩色电子照片（大小不超过200kb，支持jpg，jpeg，png为后缀的图片，像素大于295*413）；

Recent full-face color photo (bareheaded, single person) taken within the last six months. File size must not exceed 200 KB. Accepted formats: jpg, jpeg, png. Minimum pixel resolution: 295 × 413.

（9）相关语言能力证明材料；

Evidence of relevant language proficiency；

（10）其他可能要求补交的支撑材料。

4. 申请流程 Procedure

请将以上所有材料打包并以“莞工国际硕士申请+姓名+申请专业”命名，发送至邮箱dgutyjs@163.com 。

Package all the above documents into one file, name it in the format of DGUT Intl Master Application + Name + Applied Major, and send it to the email address: dgutyjs@163.com

5. 其他说明 Supplementary Instructions

（1）以上材料中文、英文以外的文本须同时提供中文或英文翻译件。

Documents other than Chinese or English are required to be translated.

（2）申请材料模板请见附件2。

Please refer to Attachment 2 for the application material template.

（3）按时提交其他补充材料。申请材料不全者不予受理，申请材料一律不予退还。

Applicants shall submit supplementary materials as required. Incomplete applications will not be processed, and all submitted application documents are non-refundable.

五、录取 Admission

1.学校将根据申请材料审核、面试或考核情况出具预录取通知。申请者确认就读后缴纳报名费，该费用除不可抗力外不予退还。缴费及JW202手续办结后，发放正式《录取通知书》，相关文件将于申请当年7—8月邮件送达。

DGUT will grant pre-admission based on document review, interviews and assessments. Applicants shall settle the application fee once they confirm enrollment. The fee is non-refundable except for force majeure. The official Admission Letter will be issued after application fee payment and completion of JW202 procedures. Scanned documents will be emailed between July and August of the application year.

2. 被录取的学生持正式《录取通知书》和《来华留学人员确认表》（JW202）等到中国使（领）馆申请X1签证。

Admitted students shall apply for the X1 Visa at Chinese Embassies or Consulates with the offical Admission Letter and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Coming to China (JW202 Form).

六、报到注册 Registration

1. 学生的具体报到时段按录取通知书规定为准。

The official registration period shall be subject to the requirements specified in the Admission Letter.

2. 学生报到时需携带全部申请材料原件供学校复核。材料核验不通过的或未经批准逾期报到者，将被取消录取资格。

Upon registration, students must bring the original copies of all application documents for university verification. Those who fail the document verification or register late without official approval shall have their admission revoked.

3. 学生在抵达中国后30天内将X1签证转换成学习居留许可，逾期未办理相关手续者，将作退学处理。学校不接受持非学习签证的学生报到入学。

Within 30 days after arriving in China, students holding an X1 visa must convert it into a student residence permit. Failure to complete relevant procedures on time will result in mandatory withdrawal. The university will not accept students with non-student visas for enrollment.

4. 实行国际学生全员保险制度，未按规定购买保险者，学校将不予办理入学注册手续。

All international students are required to purchase designated insurance. The university will not complete enrollment registration for students who fail to purchase insurance in accordance with relevant regulations.

七、费用 Fees

学费、住宿费、报名费、保险费的收费标准如表3所示。

Tuition, accommodation fee, application fee and insurance premium standards are as Table 3.

All fees are denominated in CNY. DGUT reserves the right to adjust the fee policy with prior notice.

八、奖助学金 Scholarships and Stipend

国际硕士研究生在校期间可申请广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金 （硕士生）和学校国际硕士研究生各类奖学金和助学金（表 4）。

International master’s students may apply for the Guangdong Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students in Guangdong (Master Category) and various DGUT scholarships and stipend for international master’s students (see Table 4).
