Dr. Zhang Peng graduated from Sun Yat sen University with a PhD and is currently an associate professor at Dongguan University of Technology. He has been engaged in the design and synthesis of new nano energy materials and basic research on electrochemical energy storage devices. He has accumulated rich experience in the design and synthesis of metal oxide based energy materials, carbon materials, and their electrochemical performance research and device development in new metal ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and supercapacitors. Hosted Guangdong Province Basic and Applied Basic Research Fund Fund, Guangdong Province "Innovation Strong School" projects, Dongguan City Science and Technology Plan projects, and multiple horizontal projects. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 20 academic papers  for the fields of materials and energy in journals with international influence, including J. Mater. Chem. AJ. Mater. Sci. Tech.Electrochim. ActaJ. Electrochem. Soc.Mater. Res. Bull.
