To date, nine high-impact SCI papers have been published in journals including Coordination Chemistry Reviews, Materials Horizons, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, and Dyes and Pigments. He has applied for one Chinese invention patent. As principal investigator, he currently leads one National Natural Science Foundation of China project, one Guangdong-Dongguan Collaborative Research Fund project, and one sub-project under Dongguan's Fifth Batch of Introduced Innovative Research Teams Program.
