Cheng Wanyou, Ph.D., Professor. He is a Young Director of the Chinese Mathematical Programming Branch and a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews (USA). Research interests: Optimization theory and algorithms, as well as their applications in image processing, signal processing, and machine learning. Since 2008, he has published more than 20 papers, among which nearly 30 have been included in SCI journals. One paper has been accepted by a SCI Zone 1 journal, and more than 10 papers have been included in SCI Zone 2 journals. He is currently in charge of one General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has completed one National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists, one General Project of Humanities and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of Education, and three Guangdong Natural Science Funds. In 2012, he presided over and completed one Guangdong Innovative Talent Training Program, and in 2018, he presided over and completed one Guangdong Innovative and Strong School Project. He was selected as a training object of the "Qianbai Shi" Project at the university level in Guangdong Province in 2012, a training object of Excellent Young Teachers in Guangdong Province in 2014, a characteristic talent of Dongguan City in 2015, and a backbone for the construction of high-level universities at Dongguan University of Technology in 2016. |
