Ph.D. in Science, Professor and Master’s Supervisor at Dongguan University of Technology, International Joint Doctoral Supervisor, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Computer Science and Technology. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Department of Mathematics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and received his Ph.D. from the College of Mathematics at Hunan University in 2011. His research primarily focuses on the theory and methods of global optimization and computational intelligence. He has led five research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General Program, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Fund, and the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation General Program. He has published over 60 papers in leading journals in related fields, such as IEEE Trans. Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Trans. Cybernetics, Evolutionary Computation, Information Sciences, and Journal of Global Optimization, and has authored two monographs and one textbook. He serves as a reviewer for 16 SCI journals, including IEEE TEVC. He is also a Council Member of the Guangdong Mathematical Society and a Member of the Intelligent Simulation Optimization and Scheduling Committee of the Chinese Association for System Simulation.
