The Master of Engineering in Biology and Medicine (Program Code: 0860) at Dongguan University of Technology is a full-time professional master's degree program. Rooted in the development needs of the health industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, it is dedicated to cultivating high-level, innovative, application-oriented and interdisciplinary biomedical professionals with outstanding technological innovation capabilities and proficiency in solving complex engineering problems. Closely aligned with the national strategy of "Healthy China 2030" and the industry demands in the biomedical field, this program takes the core objective of training excellent biomedical engineers with both professional literacy and engineering practice capabilities. Students are required to master the basic and applied theories, practical methods, and industry policies and regulations related to new technologies and product development in food and bioengineering, pharmaceutical engineering, synthetic biology, and advanced instruments in life sciences. They should also be well-versed in engineering ethics and academic research norms, and possess capabilities in food and pharmaceutical research and development, biomanufacturing, quality control, project planning, technological breakthroughs and practical research.
